- Letter from Ainas to Phaselos, concerning legal and business matters. The barley they brought to an oasis seems to have been wrongly appropriated, and Ainas struggled for three years to recover it. He asks Phaselos to file a petition for redress to the dux. With address on the back.

- Papyrus sheet, medium-brown, complete and well preserved, with few holes and minor surface damage in places; written on both sides along the fibres. On the front, there are 27 lines, with some blank space between lines 26 and 27. Margins are minimal; a sheet-join runs from top to bottom at c. 15 mm from the right edge. On the back there is one line and at the top a thick line of ink serving as a seal. The sheet was folded in half from top to bottom, then inwards from both sides. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
