The Madras Government inform the Court of Directors that the claim of the Ceylon Government on the Travancore Government was satisfied in full on 21 Nov 1820.
Paliyath Achan, the former Diwan of Cochin, is given permission to go on a pilgrimage to Benares, but Government decline to comply with his request to be granted 2000 rupees for travelling and charitable expenses.
A further sum of 500 rupees is paid to the proprietors of the Catholic church at Tayit near Quilon as extra compensation for the damage the church sustained when it was used by the Government for military purposes.
