A: Fragmentary letter to Diophanes, mentioning his daughter, grandchildren and his son Dioscurides. The writer recommends the bearer of the letter, presumably Asclepiades, should he need anything. B-E: Small fragments of various documents, unpublished.

Five fragments of papyrus sheets from mummy cartonnage, written on one side, with plaster residue especially on the back; mounted in the same glass frame.

A: Lacking the left-hand half; with minor surface damage; 10 lines written across the fibres, lacking the beginnings; lower and right margins minimal; upper margin extant.

B: Small strip with 2 lines running across the fibres and traces of another line.

C: Upper left corner of a sheet, with the beginnings of 4 lines written across the fibres.

D: Fragment with beginnings of 6 lines written along the fibres.

E: With some surface damage; lines run along the fibres; the ink is faint.

Fragments presumably from the same document, which a letter written by Philonides possibly to Cleon. The bearer of the letter, a certian Xanthippus, is being recommended by Philonides. The back preserves remains of the painted decoration.

Papyrus sheet from mummy cartonnage, with plaster residue; Papyrus 518(b) belongs to the same sheet and is the lower left-hand portion. Writing runs across the fibres on the front and along them on the back. The front has 8 lines; the last word is written after some blank space. Margins survive. The back bears one column of 3 lines. The sheet was probably folded vertically in the middle. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Two fragments of a mid-brown papyrus sheet from mummy cartonnage; broken off at the bottom (front), with traces of plaster, especially on the back, and minor surface damage in places; written on both sides. The front bears one column of 26 lines written across the fibres, with a gap between lines 18 and 19. Side margins are minimal; the upper margin measures 15 mm. The modern annotation indicates the mummy from which the papyrus comes. The back has one word written along the fibres in the lower right corner, upside down in relation to the text on the front. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Two fragments of the right-hand half of a papyrus sheet, reused as mummy cartonnage, with plaster residue in places; written on one side across the fibres, the back being blank. There are 12 lines, lacking the beginnings with the exception of line 12. Upper and lower margins measure 20 mm; the right margin was irregularly cut. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

The upper fragment contains portions of 4 lines and traces of another line at the bottom, the lower fragment bears parts of 6 lines and a trace from another line at the top. The upper margin measures 20 mm and the lower 20-25 mm; small strips and the left and right edges have been cut off. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Letter to Cleon from Demetrius, who reports that he had been insulted in front of a crowd for having picked up a chisel belonging to someone else, and to have been attacked five days later as he wanted to distribute loaves of bread. He asks Cleon to take notice of this.

Upper papyrus (A): portions of two columns; of the first, the ends of 11 lines remain; of the second, 12 lines, with the last word of the last line written after a blank. Intercolumn and lower margin survive. A sheet-join runs across the fibres between the two columns. The back is blank.

Lower left papyrus (B): fragment with plaster residue and some surface damage; portions of 6 lines survive.

Lower right papyrus (C): Small fragment, broken off at all sides, with portions of 6 lines.
