Scope & Content:
Receipts issued by the directors of the granary (sitologoi) of Hermopolis. Column 1: Fragmentary. Column 2: Acknowledgment of the grain paid by Achilleus, son of Sabourion, on behalf of Taumesis, daughter of Inaroous, and on behalf of Aline, daughter of Sarapion.

Extent:
Upper portion of a papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom and left, and damaged by few small insect holes; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The upper portions of two columns remain; of the first, only the ends of 6 lines survive, with a blank space of 155 mm between lines 3 and 4; of the second, 10 lines remain. Upper and right margins and intercolumn are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Two papyrus sheets bearing writing on one side, with the back blank; mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.

Upper papyrus (A): Medium-brown, imperfect at the bottom left, otherwise well preserved; two columns of 14 and 11 lines respectively running along the fibres. Margins survive, the left being imperfect. A sheet-join runs from top to bottom at about 20 mm from the left edge.

Lower papyrus (B): Medium-dark brown, complete, with minor damage; 4 lines written in the upper half of the sheet across the fibres. Margins are extant, the lower measuring 35 mm. Four vertical folds are still visible.
