Four large undated photographs of the railway, showing a train on a bridge (Moa River Bridge), replacing sleepers, Garret locomotive no. 57 and a viaduct under construction. Provenance unknown - possibly passed to the National Archives following the closure of the railway.
Mainly concerning re-appropriation of finances ('votes') to cover excess spending over estimates. Includes detailed tables of excess spending and narratives of reasons for the excess.
Transfer of a European Guard from Nigerian Railways to train the guards on the Sierra Leone Railway who are all African. Appointment of J.T. Dunn, his subsequent departure and his opinion of the Sierra Leone guards.
