- Fragment of a new comedy, perhaps by Menander. A dialogue between a young man and his slave is preserved; the young man intends to break off his engagement with the daughter of an important man, as he is in love with someone else. Once the master has left, the slave ponders on what to do.

Fragment of a papyrus sheet, with holes and some surface damage in the preserved portion; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The front bears remains of two columns, each of 25 lines, for a height of 115 mm. The first column lacks the beginnings of the lines, the second the ends. Upper and lower margins measure 30 mm. Side margins are lost. The number in red refers to the publication in P.Oxy. I. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.
