Foliation: ff 588. Five unfoliated paper flyleaves at the beginning and four at the end. The original numeration survives (on ff 511-515, the 12th-century foliation has been replaced by a 15th-century one, but for the remainder of the 12th-century portion the original foliation has been unaltered).
Dimensions: 290 x 200 mm.
Ruling: irregular.
Binding: Half blue, modern.

Origin: Eastern Mediterranean (Crete?)
Provenance:
One of the later scribes, Georgius Drazinus, has added a note (f 579r) that the manuscript was completed by him in July, 1st Indiction, 6946 (A.D. 1438).
On the fly-leaf (f 1r) is a copy of a letter from Jeremias, Patriarch of Constantinople, to the priests of Crete, on abuses in administering the rite of baptism, dat. May, Indict. 4 (A.D. 1501 or 1516); and on the reverse (f 1v) is a curious note of the reception in Crete on 29 June, 1453, of the news of the taking of Constantinople by the Turks on 29 May.
The Monastery of St. Mary Angarathus, in Crete, owned in the 16th century: On the margins of f 10r are the death notices of two abbots of that monastery, namely Nephon, d. 15 Sept. 1559, and Germanus, d. 10 Jan. 1579.
