ff 439v-441v Ecclesiastical history of Armenia from St. Gregory the Illuminator to the Catholicus Norseses II, with an account of the origin of the fast ἀρτζιβούριον. Inc. Ἰστέον ὅτι ὑπὸ λέοντος τοῦ ἀρχιεπισκόπου.
ff 441v-443v An account of the conflict at Rome between St. Peter and Simon Magus, and of the death of the latter, generally agreeing with Cedrenus (PG 121.400-410). Followed by a passage connecting the story with the observance by the Roman Church of the Saturday fast, etc.

Followed, without a break, by an account of Origen (Chronicon 3.43, PG 110.533-541), f 509r; a note of monstrous births in the reign of Theodosius, f 510r; and an account of the death of Esau and the birth of Moses (Chronicon 1.17-18, PG 110.160), f 510v. The last extract concludes imperfectly at the bottom of f 510v with a catchword, this being the end of that part of the MS which is of the 15th century and written on paper.
