In Add. 8398 are the relazioni by Antonio Suriano (1535; art. 1), Nicolò Tiepolo (1538; art. 2), Paolo Tiepolo (1569; art. 3), Ranieri Zen or Zeno (1623; art. 4), Alvise di Nicolò Contarini (1648; art. 5), Giovanni Giustinian (1651; art. 6), Giovanni Pesaro (1656; art. 7), and Angelo Correr (1660; art. 8); in Add. 8399 those by Angelo Correr, possibly apocryphal (1660; art. 1), Giovanni Dolfin or Delfin (1598; art. 2), Antonio Grimani (1671; art. 4), Pietro Mocenigo (1676; arts. 6-7), and Nicolò Erizzo (1702; art. 8). Add. 8399 also includes a relazione by the French Ambassador Charles d'Albert d'Ailly, Duc de Chaulnes (1668, 1669; art. 3), and one by Giovanni Battista Bigliore di Lucerna addressed to Charles Emmanuel II Duke of Savoy (1670; art. 5). Armorial bookplates of the Hon. Frederick North, later 5th Earl of Guilford, with shelfmark respectively 'L/17/E' and 'L/18/E' (front pastedowns). '87' in top left corner of front pastedowns.
