M. Arnold-Forster for her The Right Honourable Hugh Oakeley Arnold-Forster: a Memoir by His Wife, 1910. See also B.M.Q., xxiv, 1961, pp. 12-14. Supplement Add. MSS. 43893, ff. 92-130; 49722; 49723; 50085, ff. 48-70b. The arrangement is that made by Arnold-Forster and where he gave numbers to volumes, these are shown in brackets after the main numeration. The original bindings have been kept and items found loose in the volumes have been inserted at appropriate places. The last two volumes of the diaries, now 50352, 50353, were received in an unbound state. 50275-50297, 50300-50323, 50325, 50326 are preceded by lists of contents.
