"ORIGINAL LETTERS written by various persons of distinction to Henrietta Hobart, Countess of Suffolk [eldest daughter of Sir Henry Hobart, 4th Bart., and sister to Sir John Hobart, 1st Earl of Buckinghamshire, and wife of Charles Howard, 9th Earl of Suffolk in 1731, and re-married in 1735 to George Berkeley, youngest son of Charles, 2nd Earl of Berkeley], during the reigns of King George the First, George the Second, and George the Third [with drafts of Mrs. Howard's replies, and other papers]; bequeathecl by Lady Suffolk to her nephew, John [Hobart, 2nd] Earl of Buckingham [or Buckinghamshire], and by his Lordship to his daughter Emily [Anne] Visoountess Castlereagh [Marchioness of Londonderry in 1821], Arranged 1803." To the above title, which is printed, is added in pencil by J. W. Croker, "by [i.e. arranged by] Mr. Watson Taylor, given to me by Lord and Lady Londonderry." The contents have mostly been published, in 1824, in "Letters to and from Henrietta, Countess of Suffolk," etc., edited by J. W. Croker, two volumes, 8vo. Five volumes. Paper. Large Folio. Presented by the executors of the Right Hon. John Wilson Croker.
