The collection consists of digital copies of Wolofal (Wolof Ajami) manuscripts copied as part of the EAP 334 project. Some of the manuscripts have been digitized from photocopies of the original handwritten documents and others have been digitized from handwritten photocopies of the original documents.
Physical characteristics of original material: Images in this collection were captured using digital photography. Though there are ink stains due to the poor conservation, most of the images are generally readable.
5 paper manuscripts of 502 pages. Based on the interview with the owner, the materials were written between the 1930's and the 1960's.
