The material is a eulogy dedicated to Serigne Ndame Abdourahmane Lo, an important Murid scholar and educator. The poem traces his biography and highlights his dedication to education during and after Cheikh Amadou Bamba's deportation to Mauritania and his role in the Qur'anic education of Bamba's children such as Serigne Mouhammadou Moustapha Mbacke, Elhadji Fallilou Mbacke, and Serigne Abdou Khadre Mbacke.
