Consists of seven, single-sheet documents in a bamboo wooden-cylinder (190mm by 30mm)in typical Bru-tribe fashion. Bamboo cylinder casing has some non-descript blue markings on the side. Documents themselves range in quality of preservation from very damaged to fairly decent.
These seven documents mainly concern finance (money lending and bride price). A rare collection in that it concerns the Bru tribe, a highly marginalized group in today's Mizoram. In 1949, the Mizo Presbyterian Church engaged Pu Thangzauna to work amongst the neighbouring Bru tribe.
