Digitised copies of material from the Government Archives Collection at the Turks and Caicos National Museum. The material copied for this project comprises one complete bundle of administrative records from the Presidents Office of the Turks Islands (1848-1873).
The full collection consists of circulars, copies of previous dispatches and memos from the Prime Minister, Downing Street, Great Britain, The Governor of Jamaica and the Turks and Caicos Office of the President. The records are mostly correspondence, minutes and dispatches, but also contain information relating to the governance of the islands by Great Britain, the Bahamas and Jamaica.
