- Original materials are handwritten in black ink on paper, sometimes bound with ribbon, displaying three equally spaced holes along the front left edge. The dispatches suffer from water damage, and some show signs of mould and insect/rodent damage.The fo
- Custodial History:
- Originally part of the archives stored under the Post Office, these records may have been part of the Presidential Papers that were then transferred to the Victoria Public Library, before removal to the Old Fire House. They were placed in the most recent location, the Old Police Station in summer 2008, before Hurricane Ike. This bundle was recovered in December 2010 and brought into the Turk and Caicos National Museum's custody.

Within the bundle, the dispatches are arranged chronologically via an assigned number; each January the numbering would begin at 1. This number was presumably recorded by the Office staff in either a Correspondence Register or Letter Book similar to ot
