Photographs of the Construction of the Cauvery-Mettur Dam and associated canals. Photographer(s): Klein and Peyerl; New York Times
- Scope & Content:
-
Collection of 14 loose prints showing construction work on the Cauvery Mettur Dam Scheme, accompanied by a typescript list of captions and additional notes. The majority are reproduced in C. G. Barber, History of the Cauvery-Mettur Project (Madras, 1940). Print 15 is unrelated to this series and is a snapshot of coracles by a riverside, taken in 1895, possibly by the parents of the donor.
