Octavo volume, original boards (rebacked), measuring 228 x 158 mm; pp. 32, plus folding diagram. The work comprises a descriptive manual for using the portable stereoscopic camera designed by Plücker, a Belgian army officer, and includes two original albumen prints, mounted on card, included to illustrate the results obtainable with the sterepscopic camera: either a single (frontispiece) or a double (p. 1) image.
