- Estate papers of the second and third Earls of Hardwicke relating to Wimpole, Cambridgeshire, and other properties owned by the family. The collection consists chiefly of accounts, bills and receipts (mostly for the Wimpole estate and other properties for the years 1785-1790). It also includes papers on legal matters and property sales in Cambridgeshire, a few plans and designs, a number of business letters to the third Earl and Countess of Hardwicke, and a file of papers relating to the Earl of Hardwicke’s house in St James’s Square, London, 1782-1812.
