This collection was recovered in a very small traditional town of Bungamati south of Patan. It is the home town of Bungadyo Aryavalokitesvara, a very famous deity in Newar Buddhism. The collection has miscellanous manuscripts. It has Buddhist and Hindu religious manuscripts as well as texts on astrology, Sanskrit grammar, Mantras, etc. Most of the manuscript in this collection was recovered by the owner from inside a wall of his old house that was dismantled for reconstruction. In fact, this sorts of event happen due to religious devotion and manuscripts were kept like that for expecting good omens.
