Script: Naskh; the scribe is ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad al-Ḥāḍir ibn al-Ḥaydar (علي بن محمد بن الحاضر بن الحيضر, see colophon, f. 205v, line 18)

Ink: Black ink, with rubricated headings and overlinings in red

Decoration: None

Binding: Maroon half leather binding; the front and back covers of a previous Islamic binding of brown leather, bearing tooled central mandorlas with pendants decorated with gold-tooled dots within a blind-tooled frame, are pasted inside the front and back covers

Condition: Occasional staining

Marginalia: A few marginal corrections and annotations; marginal side-headings (trimmed); collation notes to f. 51
