Menakıb-ı Ali Ebu Sina

This volume contains three texts:
ff 2v-26v : [Menakıb-ı Ebu Ali Sina ve karındaşı Ebu’l-Haris]. This section contains mythical narratives of the extraordinary exploits of Ebu Ali Sina (Avicenna, who is the subject of a number of such tales) and his brother Ebu’l-Haris, both of whom had mastered alchemy.
ff 27v-67v : Acaibü’l-mahlukat. This section contains extracts of Yazıcıoğlu Ahmed Bican’s (died after 870 AH/1466 CE) translation of al-Qazwīnī’s (died 682 AH/1283 CE) work on cosmography and geography.
ff 68v-235v : Haza kitab Seyyid Battal Gazi. This portion of the text contains a lengthy version of the narrative recounting the exploits of the warrior Seyyid Battal Gazi.

Other contents of this work include short fatwas on ff 1r-v and an owner’s inscription naming the three texts in the manuscript on f 1v. On ff 235v-236r, there are brief extracts or quotations from several religious texts concerning the sons of Japheth, son of Noah, doctrines concerning the Divine Names, vocative phrases in the Qur’an, imprisoned debtors, fatwas of Ahmed Kemalpaşazade, about people whose testimony is not valid, and of Ebu’s-su’ud, about Ebu Hanife and the sources of his school of jurisprudence (mezhep).
