This is a collection of newspapers published during the colonial period in Malawi formelry Nyasaland. The collection comprises of publications from 1895 to 1965. The newspaper titles are Nyasaland Times, Msimbi and Nkhani Za Nyasaland.
Extent: Acollection of newspapers containing 12,894images.
Condition of original material: Some papers are torn, disintergrating and fading.
Custodial history: The material was published at different media houses in Nyasaland and transferred to National Archives of Malawi for preservation.
