This is a newspaper whose publication started in 1949 and was mainly focusing on local Nyasaland news. This publication mostly was published in two local languages (Nyanja and Tumbuka) and a little bit of english.
Extent: 12 volumes of newspapers containing 1688 pages.
Condition of original material: The documents are generally in good condition, however some ink is fadind and slightly torn.
Custodial history: The Material was published at Blantyre Newspapers Limited in Blantyre district in Malawi. The news papers were then collected, bounded in volumes and stored at the National Archives of Malawi repositories.
Arrangement: The material is arranged according to dates of creation.
