Custodial history: The collection has 49 manuscripts, which include medicine, mantra, horoscope, Kūttu,cittārūṭam,kāviyattiraṭṭu. The owner of the collection is Kanapathipillai Sivangnamurthi. He is from Kannamkuda and currently lives in Ooththumadu. All the manuscripts used by his father, Kanapathipillai, His father received them from his maternal uncle (Chinavipodi). Sivangnamurthi knows how to read the manuscripts. He has been preserving them for 40 years. He mentioned that his brother and he divided the manuscripts among them after his father’s death. The manuscripts belong to the 18th and 19th centuries.
