- This series contains two Minute Books, roughly covering the same period of time. The first, written in English, records the statements of witnesses given at Lands Court proceedings in Funafuti. It appears to have been written by A G Lake, who was Lands Commissioner for the Ellice Islands District during this period. The second minute book, written in Tuvalu, contains further details of each case. It also contains information regarding adoption cases. The original records cover the dates 1948-1957. They are written in Tuvalu and English.
