Six Notebooks used by Christina Rossetti for the inscription of fair copies of her poems; 17 June 1856-15 Feb. 1859 and 23 March 1861-11 June 1866. The notebooks are part of a series of seventeen covering the years 1842-1866, of which the others are Ashley MS. 1362 (1842-1845), nine in the Bodleian Library at Oxford, and one in the possession of Mrs Imogene Rossetti Dennis. The six comprised in Ashley MS. 1364 are all indexed, and contain extensive deletions and revisions made in pencil at various times by Christina and William Michael Rossetti when preparing the poems for publication. There are also pencil comments and revisions by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Ashley Library Catalogue, ix, pp. 109-110.
