Journal of John Hyde in India;-[Bushire], 2 Nov. 1821- Baroche, 11 Jan. 1823; Baroche, 12 Jan. 1823-Bhagirathi, 18 Apr. 1825. Hyde sailed from Bushire on board the 'Frances Warden', and landed at Bombay. The two volumes correspond roughly to the two main spheres of Hyde's travels.. Inserted throughout the volumes are letters (often cut down to little more than signatures) from various officers and civilians whose hospitality he enjoyed. Paper; ff. ii + 168, i + 224. Quarto.
