Numbered files. Photocopies, mostly letters, many with manuscript notes by Granger attached indicating the content of the letters and some manuscript letters being re-typed by Granger. The originals of these letters, many of them there inserted between slips of papers written by Granger and bearing the names of the writers, are in the Olivier papers at Add MS 7966-79894 and elsewhere in that archive, hence these files are very selectively indexed. The numbers following ‘LO archive’ in the descriptions refer to the box containing the letters before their transfer to the British Library, the list of boxes being at Add MS 89150/1. Unless otherwise stated, all letters are from the named writer to Olivier. The date range is usually that of the photocopies made between 1996 and 2000, and the dates given in the descriptions in this series are those of the original letters.
