The series consists of a book that corresponds to the register of men admitted to the Lima Asylum between 1915 and 1920. The book contains the personal data of the patients, such as names, age, race, marital status, social status, education and religion; in addition, it can be seen that the medical history, causes, diagnosis of the illness and the date of death and/or departure of the patients from the Lima Insane Asylum were noted down.

La serie está compuesta por un libro que corresponden al registro de admisión de hombres al Manicomio de Lima entre los años de 1915 a 1920. El libro contiene los datos personales de los pacientes como nombres, edad, raza, estado civil, condición social, intrucción y religión; además, se puede observar que se anotaban los antecedentes médicos, causas, diagnóstico de la enfermedad y la fecha de defunción y/o salida de los pacientes del Manicomio de Lima.

Size and dimensions of original material: 39cm x 29.5cm x 5.4 cm.

Condition of original material: Stitching out of place, leaves loose from the support, caves in the leaves caused by insects, oxidation due to iron galling.

Custodial history: The digital images in this collection were created as part of the EAP1402 "Digitisation of 19th century documents from the Manicomio del Cercado, Lima, Peru". The original material from the now hosted by the Víctor Larco Herrera Hospital’s Museum.

Arrangement: The book are arranged chronologically by the year they were created.
