- The 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of 185 Piccadilly were occupied by the Northbrook Society until it moved to Cromwell House in 1911. In May 1911, the Society granted an underlease to Thomas Heath who intended to open a colonial social club. In 1912, Heath surrendered the residue of the underlease to the Society, and the India Office decided to terminate the lease held by the Society.
