The records consist of unrelated miscellaneous additional records of the Political Residency, Bushire (from 1946, Bahrain).
The records are as follows:
- IOR/R/15/1/749: Oil Concessions, 1933 - c. 1964;
- IOR/R/15/1/750: Government of Bahrain Administration Report for 1926-1937, and Annual Reports for 1937-1944, dated 1937-1945;
- IOR/R/15/1/751: 'Cable and Wireless Concession Agreement with Shaikh of Bahrain', 1947;
- IOR/R/15/1/752-757: Correspondence in Arabic and English between the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf at Bushire and the Residency Agent on the Trucial Coast at Sharjah, 1883-1930;
- IOR/R/15/1/758: Photocopy of Letters Outward and Inward (covering the years 1789-1798). This is a complete copy of an original correspondence volume, which had strayed from Bushire to the Secretariat Record Office, Bombay. In the classification of the records of the Political Residency, Bushire, the original volume would evidently have fallen between IOR/R/15/1/4 and IOR/R/15/1/5.
