Consists of register volumes, which mainly record dispatches sent and received by George Canning, to and from British diplomats to various countries or states, during Canning’s second term as British Foreign Secretary, from 13 September 1822 to 20 April 1827. The register entries for the dispatches sent to the diplomats usually include draft copies of the dispatches, whereas the entries for the dispatches received from the diplomats usually include summaries of the content of the dispatches.The volumes record dispatches to and from diplomats to the following countries or states, as recorded on the spines of the volumes:
