World Review was a monthly magazine published by the Hulton Press, known originally as The Review of Reviews, and which featured items relating to politics, art, culture, literature, and other topics, with a section for reviews at the end of each publication. The issues held in the archive are from the period when Desmond and Penelope Fitzgerald edited the magazine (1950-1953).
In addition to their editorials, contributions from Penelope Fitzgerald feature throughout these issues, as well as from many notable literary figures (such as J. D. Salinger and Albert Camus), and a contribution from Rawle Knox (Fitzgerald’s brother).
