- House, warehouses, coach-houses and stables on the north side of Gravel Lane adjoining the back part of Sir Francis Baring's residence and leased by him from Joseph Denison. The Company purchased the freehold of the premises from Joseph Denison and his son William Joseph Denison in January 1796 for £630, and the life interest of Joseph Denison at the same time for £63. Devonshire House, 11 Devonshire Square, (north-east corner), formerly occupied by Sir Francis Baring, purchased in 1805 from Joseph Denison and William Joseph Denison for £6,000. The underlease of the premises was purchased from Sir Francis Baring for £2,600. This house was demolished. A counting house and other offices were fitted for the use of the Inspector of Military Stores for India and his assistant.
