Scope & Content:: The files consist of collated periodicals produced by various military and governmental offices and containing intelligence on a wide range of subjects, all of which were sent to the Political Agency in Bahrain. Most of the files include the related correspondence. The geographic focus of the files is the Middle East, usually more specifically the Persian Gulf. Some files contain only the covering letters and notes of receipt, the reports having probably been destroyed.
