The Judicial files of the Political Agency, Bahrain for the period 1926-50 reflect the work of the Political Agent, Bahrain as Notary Public, Judge, and Magistrate. Certain members of the Political Agent's staff also held judicial powers. The files fall into a number of groups:

- IOR/R/15/2/1173-1179: the registration of legal documents for individuals and corporate bodies;
- IOR/R/15/2/1180-1187: individual cases of claims and complaints;
- IOR/R/15/2/1188-1190, 1196, 1198: miscellaneous judicial matters;
- IOR/R/15/2/1191 and 1197: the grant of judicial powers to the Assistant Political Agent, and Judicial Assistant to the Political Agent, respectively;
- IOR/R/15/2/1192-1195 and 1199: judicial legislation (Orders in Council, King's Regulations, copies of relevant United Kingdom and Government of India Acts).
