The thirteen aviation files contain correspondence, notes, and memoranda relating to matters of civil and military aviation in the Persian Gulf. The correspondence is mostly between the Political Agency in Bahrain, Political Residency in Bushire (later in Bahrain), numerous other political and military offices in the region, several private aviators and aviation companies, the Adviser to the Government of Bahrain, and other companies.
The files cover several subjects, including:
- construction and improvement of aerodromes in Muharraq;
- civil flight schedules and information;
- Royal Air Force (RAF) and civil aviation personnel information, including compensation for accident and death;
- crash investigations;
- other miscellaneous subjects relating to specific flights and companies.
