- Arrangement:

These files were found in considerable disorder at acquisition. Having been at some point removed from their original files, they were either loose, or repackaged in a way that did not reflect their original and still-evident division into files, even though it often respected their original order. The current arrangement is a recreation of the original structure and order which is based on the precedents of the arrangements of Leslie Boosey's papers of 1956 and 1957, and on the coherence among the papers themselves.
Before acquisition, the material had been repackaged into envelopes. In some cases, the titles of these envelopes were repeated. The order in which they were found is indicated alphabetically, by letters given in square brackets after the original title.
