Includes letters from John Barker, Consul at Aleppo, mentioning Lady Hester Stanhope and also referring to the defeat of Bonaparte; Barker also forwards to North accounts of the travels in the Near East of John Fiott and of Mr Ibrahim. There are letters concerning pictures and other goods sent to England by North and received by James Christie of Pall Mall including inventories of paintings.
