Includes a letter from North to George Canning offering his services to government as a diplomatic agent (1808), and a letter and Minute relating to the circulation of intelligence in the Ionian region (1813). There is also an anonymous account in French about the aftermath of the revolt of the janissaries (1808), and a letter about Mount Etna from the geologist Mario Gemmellaro.
