Archbishop Prokopios requests that the school in Kythira be supplied with writing slates. A teacher, S. Pruche, giving French lessons to Academy students and others, complains of a tax levied by the government on each of his pupils. North writes to Pozzo di Borgo about an injury sustained when his carriage overturned (July, 1826). Pantoleon Platis writes about his two children imprisoned at Chios. There is a letter from Paolo Prosalendi, the designer of the Greek costumes worn by members of the Academy.
