Add MS 88909/21

Two small photograph albums:

(1) 'Hendon Experimental Art Club' (containing 17 photographs - NB: the second page has been cut in half suggesting that a photograph was removed prior to cataloguing);

(2) 'Hendon Arts Together / Spring Exhibition / Odeon Theatre / April 9th to 22nd' (containing 19 photographs).

Also, seven black and white photographs of paintings and sculptures by Fred Bungay, Victor Anton and Mr Allen (dated 1953-54 and originally stored together in a single envelope - envelope front with identifying names retained). Although 'Group H' is written above the names, this must have been added retrospectively since the title 'Group H' was not adopted until 1957).

Also, two further photographs, one of which is labelled 'A corner of the Hendon Art Exhibition at the Odeon Hendon'.

None of the photographic material is dated by year, but the file of Hendon exhibition lists includes a list for the 'Fifth Spring Exhibition' at the Odeon Cinema of the Hendon Group of Painters and Sculptors (closing 21 April, year not indicated), which designation for the art club was not adopted until 1954. All photographs are black and white.
