Part of the cargo, estimated at 180 tons, was unloaded at Madras, leaving c.235 tons for London. The volume contains a copy (by Robert Hudson jun, 16 Apr 1724) of the EIC's orders and instructions to the supercargoes 27 Dec 1723, with the supercargoes' responses to the instructions 4 Dec 1724.
