Correspondence relating to the deposition of Shaikh Saqar bin Khalid and succession of Shaikh Sultan bin Saqar as Shaikh of Sharjah. The Political Resident Persian Gulf brokered an agreement over this succession which included the place of residence for the former ruler and payments. Includes genealogical trees of the Qasimi family of Sharjah and the appeal of the Political Resident Persian Gulf to avoid succession through murder.
