This file contains correspondence between British officials relating to two topics:
1) concerns that Mirza Ali Asghar Khan Taliqani, the Governor of Bushire, may attempt to land at Bahrain while passing through on a steamer ship from Lingah in 1933 (ff 2-6).
2) discussions regarding the relevant permissions needed for a visit to be made to Bahrain by an official of the Iran Tobacco Monopoly named Farhadi in 1940 (ff 7-12).
