The file contains completed returns recording the names of those officers of the Political Agency, Bahrain (also spelled Bahrein) who intended to draw their leave allowances for the following year in the United Kingdom, with estimates of Sterling overseas pay, and stores likely to be purchased in England, for the years 1938-39 to 1947-48 inclusive; copy of Government of India rules on accounting for Home transactions, May 1938; and associated correspondence between the Political Agent, Bahrain and the Secretary to the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf.
