This file contains a copy of a telegram sent from the Foreign Office in London to a number of British embassies and residencies globally on 13 April 1948. The telegram concerns the proposed recognition of Seif el-Islam Ahmed as the King of Yemen.
The file also contains a covering letter that forwarded the copy from the Persian Gulf Political Resident in Bahrain to the Political Agents in Bahrain, Kuwait and Muscat.
