Correspondence and other papers relating to visits by the Commander-in-Chief, East Indies Station, to Muscat. The file covers visits in early 1949 and 1950. The papers deal with matters such as notifying the Sultan of Muscat, the programme of events for the visits, lists of officers aboard visiting ships, appropriate gun salutes, and the expected movements of HM Ships in the Persian Gulf region.
