- Autograph notebooks containing poetry drafts, notes on events and places in Hughes's life including Moortown farm. Diary entries, names and addresses, financial information, research notes, notes on literary projects and drawings possibly by Hughes's older brother, Gerald are also included. A letter (dated 21st October 1970), which was tucked into one of the notebooks was sent by Mary G. Evans of the International Centre of Theatre Centre (which was founded by Peter Brook and Micheline Rozan) and a postcard to Hughes have both been kept in the volume.
